AdoptMatch
AdoptMatch was created to match prospective adoptive families to appropriate agencies. That is match families to agencies that provide the types of services the family wants and that are sensitive to the family’s needs. We believe that this type of matching will take out much of the guess work involved in picking an agency with which to work.
To do this matching we ask agencies to tell us what they offer as services and what families they can best assist. Families also enter profile information and requirements and these criteria are matched with the agencies. All matching agencies will be viewable in one location.
Once a family has matches, we suggest that they read through the profiles of the agencies. Check out the rating and comments, if any, left by other families who have used the agency.
Families may also contact each agency privately through the AdoptMatch service. Anonymous queries sent to the agency allow a family ask any questions which they may feel may impact an agency’s perception of them. For example they may ask the agency’s fee structure, whether the agency accepts members of the LGBT community into their programs or anything that may be of concern. The agency will respond to the questions by returning a message within the AdoptMatch service.
So that’s it, a guided process of picking the right agency! Register yourself, your family or the agency you work for now!
